Pune: The Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has extended the application deadline for the State Eligibility Test (SET) 2026 from June 16 to June 26 after students reported difficulties submitting online forms due to technical glitches on the application portal.

According to the revised timetable released on Monday, candidates can submit their online applications without late fee from June 17 to June 26. Those who miss this deadline can apply with a late fee from June 27 to June 30,
The SET examination for Maharashtra and Goa is scheduled to be held on July 26, 2026.
Rahul Sasane, head, University Students’ Struggle Action Committee, said “Many applicants have been facing difficulties while filling out their SET applications due to technical glitches and server downtime.”
“I was trying to submit my SET application for the past few days, but the portal was frequently showing errors and taking a long time to load,” said Mayur Jawale, a SET aspirant for Hindi subject.
The university has provided a correction window between July 1 and July 3 for applicants who may have entered incorrect information in their forms.
