IND vs AFG Live Updates: India's Yashasvi Jaiswal, left, Rishabh Pant, 17, and teammates celebrate after team's win on day three of a Test cricket match

IND vs AFG Highlights: Having lost half the side before Tea on Day 3, Afghanistan's misery lasted only 6.5 overs in the final session. In total, India needed just 35.5 overs to bowl out Afghanistan after enforcing the follow-on. Debutant Manav Suthar, who starred in the opening innings with a six-wicket haul, picked up another in the second innings, Washington Sundar picked up four, while Kuldeep Yadav added three to his name as India bundled Afghanistan for 112 runs.

The visitors, in fact, had a better start to the second innings. The openers forged a 42-run stand, leaving the home side frustrated, until Mohammed Siraj came to their rescue. His dismissal of Abdul Malik opened the gates, after which the spinners ran riot. Afghanistan lost four wickets for just 24 runs after lunch and subsequently lost their way. India picked up the final four wickets for just 14 more runs. Injured Sharafuddin Ashraf did not come out to bat.

The win by an innings and 300 runs in Mullanpur was India's biggest-ever Test victory, and second biggest for a team on Indian soil, after West Indies win by an innings and 336 runs against India in 1958, at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
