Bit a mix up between the Pakistan openers, but they survive a run out scare. Farhan latyer hit the second six of the match. Got behind the ball early on and smashed it high over long on for a six. 8 runs off the over.

Rajvardhan Hangargekar up next with the ball. A huge appeal for lbw on the third ball when Saim walked down the crease to take on the length ball, but the impact was outside. The Pakistan opener responded with a no-look uppish shot, over mid-on, that eventually hugged the boundary rope. FOUR! More pressure on the bowler as the fifth delivery went for 5 wides. 9 runs off the over.

That was nonchalantly struck! Saim simply whipped that length ball from Rana over backward square leg for a six. He then punched the next ball through covers for a boundary.

Pakistan openers Saim Ayub and Sahibzada Farhan are out in the middle. Harshit Rana will be opening the attack. He has picked six wickets in his List A career in six matches.

Batting first after winning the toss, Pakistan managed only 205 runs in 48 overs with No.7 batter Qasim Akram the highest run-getter with a knock of 48 off 63. Hangargekar was the pick the bowlers with a five-wicket haul while Manav Suthar picked three others.

In response, opener Sai Sudharsan scored an unbeaten 104 while finding able assistance from Nikin Jose, who scored 53 off 64. India A wrapped up the chase in 36.4 overs, winning by 8 wickets.
