Pacer Mohammed Siraj seems to have hurt his thumb while stopping a boundary on the final delivery of before lunch break. He put his hand down to stop a straight drive from Zak Crawley and the ball hit his thumb at pace. He was down with pain and physio Nitin Patel rushed towards him before the teams left for lunch.

England were 6/0 at lunch on the third day of the fourth Test at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Zak Crawley and Dom Sibley were batting on 5* and 1* respectively. England are 154 runs behind.

English openers Zak Crawley and Dom Sibley are out to bat. Mohammed Siraj begins the proceedings for India.

Stokes cleans up Mohammed Siraj as India get bowled out for 365, leading England by 160 runs. Bad luck for Washington Sunder who was left stranded on 96*.

India lose two wickets quickly, Axar and Ishant depart as Sundar is stuck on 96. Axar misses out on a well-deserved half-century and gets run out. On the next ball, Ben Stokes traps Ishant in fornt for a duck.

· This is the first time India have century partnerships for the 7th and the 8th wicket.

· This is only the 3rd time in Tests that century stands have been formed for the 7th and the 8th wicket. (England vs Australia at Sydney in 2011)

Washington Sundar is batting in 90s while Axar Patel has gone past the 40-run mark. Both the batters are nearing big milestones as it would be a maiden century and half-century for Sundar (94*) and Axar (42*)respectively. India: 362/7, lead by 157 runs

Umpires call for drinks. The English players will take some to revamp their strategies to get some wickets at this point. India have taken a lead of 139 while Sundar is nearing his maiden ton. Axar, on the other hand, looks confident and is batting on 34. The duo has added 50 runs today.

Skipper Joe Root into the attack and replaces Jack Leach. He has taken a five-for in the previous game but yet to scalp his first in this game. He would look to contribute in denting this brewing partnership between Axar Patel and Washington Sundar. IND: 342/7.

The duo of Washington Sundar and Axar Patel is going strong and leaving no stone unturned to frustrate the English bowlers. They have stitched an 83-run stand for the 8th wicket. Sundar is batting on 85* while Axar is on 33*. IND: 342/7

A cracking shot from Sundar. A flighted delivery from Leach and Sundar played it through bowler's fingers. That's a miss from Leach and the ball races towards the long-off fence for a boundary.

Washington Sundar is playing a sensible game and anchoring the Indian innings so confidently. He is up to 73* now and the all-rounder takes India's lead to 118 runs. Axar, on the other side, is on 26*. IND: 323/7

Washington Sundar back to business with his batting brilliance. It's just the second over of Dom Bess and the young all-rounder is going after it with all guns ablaze. A six over the bowler's head followed by a boundary through cover. Amazing stuff. India's lead go past 100-run mark.
