India vs West Indies 3rd T20 Highlights: India complete another 3-0 clean sweep by beating West Indies by 17 runs in the 3ed T20I at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. In response, the visitors lost Kyle Mayers early as Deepak Chahar found the outside edge. He then dismissed Shai Hope (8) in the next over before walking off the field due to an injury. Despite losing two quick wickets, Rovman Powell and Nicholas Pooran began by dealing in boundaries. But India fought back quickly; as Harshal Patel and Venkatesh Iyer picked up two wickets each in quick succession. But Pooran kept his side alive by hitting another 50. Romario Shepherd joined the onslaught to give Pooran good company, who eventually fell for 61 by Thakur. Harshal and Thakur bagged another as WI ended on 167/9 in 20 overs. Earlier, India had set West Indies a target of 185. In the first innings, India lost Ruturaj Gaikwad early as Jason Holder struck. However, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer hit a flurry of boundaries to tilt the momentum back. The duo then brought up their impressive 50-run stand in the 8th over. Iyer was dismissed in the next over on 25 by Hayden Walsh. Then, Roston Chase cleaned up Kishan on 34. Rohit Sharma didn't last long as Drakes castled him. Thereafter, Venkatesh Iyer and Suryakumar Yadav began dealing in boundaries. Eventually, Surykumar (65 off 31 balls) and Iyer (35*) smashed 86 runs in 30 balls to take IND to 184/5 in 20 overs.
