Shipra Giri is an Indian wicketkeeper-batter who has progressed through the Uttar Pradesh and Railways domestic systems, while also gaining experience with India A. A right-handed batter who can contribute behind the stumps, Giri made her mark at the Under-23 level in 2025, when she struck a century for Uttar Pradesh in the Women's U-23 One-Day Trophy.
Her performances in domestic cricket earned her an opportunity with India A, adding an emerging-international dimension to her development. She was also part of the India A setup at the 2025 ACC Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup, scoring 145 runs in 5 innings, gaining valuable exposure at a higher level before making the step into franchise cricket.
Giri was picked by UP Warriorz for the 2026 WPL season and made her debut during the campaign, adding another significant milestone to her developing career. She was later included in the India A squad for the 2026 series against Australia A, giving her another opportunity to strengthen her credentials in the national pathway.
