Vrinda Dinesh is an Indian top-order batter from Karnataka who has built a reputation as an aggressive right-hander and one of the promising players in the domestic circuit. She was among Karnataka's leading run-scorers in the 2022 and 2023 Women's One-Day League seasons before making her WPL debut for UP Warriorz in 2024. She was bought by the franchise for INR 1.3 crore at the 2024 auction and has since featured across multiple WPL seasons.
Dinesh's domestic form continued to make her a regular in the India A setup. She was part of the India A side at the 2025 Women's Emerging Teams Asia Cup, where she played a crucial 29-ball 36 in the final as India A went on to win the title. She also continued to make an impact in domestic T20 cricket, scoring 316 runs in the 2025-26 Senior Women's T20 Trophy, including a highest score of 118 not out.
She was subsequently appointed vice-captain of India A for the 2026 tour of England, featuring in the T20 squad, and was later included in the India A squad for the ACC Rising Stars Asia Cup in February. Dinesh was again picked in the India A squad for the 2026 series against Australia A, featuring in the T20 group as the teams began their three-match series in New Chandigarh.
