According to sources, the university's high-powered committee set up to reassess the admission process has passed a proposal for online application forms from the next academic session.

"This step was taken to make the life of students and parents easier. A lot of outstation applicants were forced to come to the city during the summer months for applications. This put financial and mental pressure on them. Also, the experiment to do away with application forms was not appreciated by most college principals. Going online is the best option," said a committee member.
