According to the police, the incident took place around 1:40 pm near the Kalkaji Temple. "The Blueline bus on route number 423 from Mori Gate and Devli village rammed the motorcycle and killed the victim on the spot. The driver fled," said a senior police officer.

The victim, Mohsin Khan, a resident of Kheda Bagh in New Friends Colony, used to work with a private firm. He was going to give a cheque to a client in Govindpuri when the bus hit him.

"Mohsin was the eldest brother among his four sisters. His father passed away around six months back after which his family was dependent on him," said a senior police officer.

A case of rash and negligence driving was lodged at the Kalkaji police station.

Meanwhile, three people -- including a woman and a graphic designer -- were also killed in three separate incidents since Wednesday night.
