The delegation brought to the Chief Minister's notice problems and safety concerns faced by cyclists on the Delhi’s roads.
In 2006 more than 150 cyclists were killed and 451 injured on Delhi's roads, which is becoming increasingly dangerous and hostile to cyclists.
"There are many people who want to take up cycling as a zero-pollution, affordable, healthy and alternate transport, but are not able to do so in the absence of safety and lack of cyclists-friendly infrastructure and facilities in the city," the club's convenor Nalin Sinha said.
The MoD was signed by around 240 cyclists comprising people from different walks of life, age group and profession.
