Conspiracy in party dislodged Gadkari: Vaidya

RSS ideologue MG Vaidya said on Wednesday that an internal conspiracy within the BJP had denied Nitin Gadkari a second term.

He also alleged that some senior leaders supplied material to the media against him.

“When BJP amended its constitution to facilitate extending second term to incumbent president Gadkari, a section of party leaders did not like it. But they did not oppose it openly

and since then started working against giving second term to Gadkari,” Vaidya wrote on his blog.

Yashwant Sinha, Ram Jethmalani and Mahesh Jethmalani had come out against openly against Gadkari.

Vaidya had earlier too batted for Gadkari in a blog post, going to the extent of saying that the finger of suspicion for the campaign against him seemed to point towards Narendra Modi.
