Delhi petrol pump employees looted of Rs 1.3 mn

Four unidentified robbers waylaid two employees and looted them of Rs 1.3 mn when they were going to deposit the cash in a bank in Delhi, police said.

Four unidentified motorcycle-borne robbers on Monday waylaid two employees of a petrol pump and looted them of Rs 1.3 million when they were going to deposit the cash in a bank in northwest Delhi, police said.

Ramlakhan Pandey and Vinod were going on a bike to deposit the cash in a branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank when the robbers stopped them barely 200 metres from their Hindustan Petroleum's petrol station in Rohini Sector 5.

The victims told police they were robbed at gunpoint.

"We have registered a case and search is on to nab the attackers," said a police officer.
