Dikshit inaugurates concrete road project

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit inaugurated a project of concrete road for internal lanes of the Sector-II, DIZ area, Gole Market at MS Flats-Peshwa Road and J-Block, Mandir Marg.

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit inaugurated a project of concrete road for internal lanes of the Sector-II, DIZ area, Gole Market at MS Flats-Peshwa Road and J-Block, Mandir Marg.

The work of DIZ Sector-II has begun and will be completed by May, 2014. NDMC chairperson Archana Arora, members of council, secretary and representatives of RWAs and market trader’s welfare association were also present on the occasion.

The project was awarded this year at the cost of R8.61 crore.

This work includes the scope of HDPE pipe in ducts for electricity and communication cables and RCC pipes for drainage system. The Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) will be used for construction of single lane length in 15 kilometres with an average width of 3 metres.
