DTU signs MoU with SIEL

Delhi Technological University (DTU) signed a memorandum of understanding — for three years — with Samsung India Electronics Ltd (SIEL) at Delhi Secretariat on Friday.

Delhi Technological University (DTU) signed a memorandum of understanding — for three years — with Samsung India Electronics Ltd (SIEL) at Delhi Secretariat on Friday.

The MoU covers four areas of collaboration — coordinating in-house tutorials for SIEL employees, workshops conducted by DTU for employees of SIEL, sponsored doctoral and post graduate programmes at DTU for employees of SIEL, paid internship opportunities for the students of DTU in SIEL and Joint Research projects.

Under the MoU, Samsung will recruit up to five student interns from DTU for six weeks on a paid stipend, who will be exposed to live projects of SIEL. It may also conduct up to 10 lectures for DTU students by senior officers of the company to give them an industrial perspective.
