"It will render no help to the students as they find it easier to buy forms from colleges rather than finding a post office. There will be nobody to guide them unlike at a college," said Aastha Lahiri, a resident of Delhi Cantonment.

Based on a similar feedback, the university was mulling selling forms from some colleges as well.

"A lot of people have raised doubts about the plan to provide forms from post offices alone," said a senior DU official. The decision to open online registrations, however, has been accepted with gusto. “It will be a big help for students from out of Delhi,” said Abhishek Ajith, a DU aspirant.
