Fire in Metro rail godown in S Delhi on Sat night

A fire broke out in the office of a Metro rail godown in an industrial area of South Delhi on Saturday night.

The blaze started at around 9:50 pm in the office records sections of the building in Okhla phase I, fire officials said.

Twenty fire tenders were pressed into service, which took almost two hours to douse the blaze, they said.

No casualty was reported in the fire which was probably caused by a short circuit, they added.
