Similarly four flights, scheduled to arrive here from Delhi, were also behind schedule due to fog, airport sources said.

Chidambaram's flight, which was to leave around 10 am, took off finally at 1.30 pm, they said.

Airline officials had a tough time in pacifying the Delhi-bound passengers of different airlines.
