Police said the incident took place on Sunday night outside the Select Citywalk in Saket when the victim was going to her house. She works in a Noida-based call center.

According to the victim's friend, she was returning home when four African nationals started calling her names and passing lewd comments. They even tried to drag her to an isolated place.

"They even physically abused her. It was only after she screamed and raised an alarm that the four men ran away," the friend added.

Hearing her cries, two policemen patrolling the area rushed to the spot.

"Seeing the cops, the four ran away. They are absconding. Identification and further interrogation is going on," said a police officer.
