Gandhi's grandson wants Sulabh to spread its activities in Pak

"I want Sulabh to spread its activities in Pakistan. The move will help strengthening ties between the two neighbouring nations," Rajmohan said at a function in 'Sulabh Gram' in New Delhi.

Asked about Rajmohan's appeal, Sulabh movement founder Bindeshwar Pathak told PTI it is keen to spread the movement in Pakistan.

"During my visit to Karachi in 1993, I had a series of discussions with Pakistani people about spreading our movement there but it is yet to take place," he said.

During his visit to Sulabh Gram, Rajmohan was accompanied by his wife Usha and a group of University of Illinois students.

Using modern techniques in sanitation process, Sulabh also aims to transform lives of scavengers and has liberated quite a number of them.
