A student who has passed out of Delhi University (DU) with a 55 per cent aggregate and wishes to pursue the same course in postgraduation, will get direct admission. However, some courses like psychology or M.Com have admission only through entrances. A student who wants to study a different course from the one he or she has studied at the undergraduate level will have to sit for an entrance examination.

Registration for courses under the Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Social Sciences, such as MA English, MA History, MA Philosophy and MA Political Science are conducted only in North Campus.
