Haryana CM shown black flags at DU

A fortnight after Narendra Modi’s visit to Delhi University brought protesting students to the streets, Haryana’s Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s visit on Monday elicited the same reaction. HT reports.

A fortnight after Narendra Modi’s visit to Delhi University brought protesting students to the streets, Haryana’s Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s visit on Monday elicited the same reaction.

Hooda had been invited by the Delhi University Student Union (DUSU) as chief guest for a debate competition, Manthan, at the law faculty.

While Hooda was on the campus, the road outside the Arts Faculty remained crowded with students carrying black flags and posters protesting Hooda’s visit to the university. The protest was led by the Indian National Students Organisation (INSO).
