Commencing its arguments before the Supreme Court, Delhi Police counsel and Solicitor General Gopal Subramanium countered the defence contention that the high court had made up its mind to hold Manu Sharma guilty by overturning the trial court judgment that acquitted Sharma in the case.

He hailed the high court judgment that had imposed life sentence on Sharma.

A bench headed by Justice S.P. Sathasivam sought to know the relevance of Bina Ramani’s evidence. The solicitor general would continue with his arguments next week.

During his brief submission, Subramanium read out the evidence of eye-witness Shyan Munshi in the case.
