A 40-year-old quack has been arrested for administering some injection and medicines, which were past their expiry, to a four-year-old boy, who died during the treatment.

The accused, Ishaq Ansari, is a resident of Hari Nagar and was running a clinic at Rewari line slum clusters in Mayapuri area.

Ansari was arrested by the police on Monday when he was trying to flee.

Runjay Singh, the father of the victim, alleged his son collapsed soon after Ansari gave him some injection.
