A moderate intensity earthquake, measuring 5.1 on the Richter Scale, shook parts of Uttarakhand on Thursday.
The tremor was felt at around 06:23 pm and the epicentre was located at a latitude of 30.1 degrees North and longitude of 80.4 degrees East, the Meteorology department said in New Delhi.
However, there were no immediate reports of any casualty or damage to property.
