Monday's rain: Waterlogging in low lying areas

Monday's rain hardly affected the temperature in the city but the civic body's complaint received several complaints about water logging, specially in low lying areas.

Of the total 42 complaints, maximum of 22 were received from Rohini zone alone followed by seven in Shahdara north zone, the MCD said in a release.

There were five complaints each about tree falling and portions of buildings falling due to rains. "These reports are based on the information collected from zonal control rooms and the main control room. These were then sent to officials concerned for immediate action," the release said.
