Mullappally Ramachandran takes charge as MoS Home

Mullappally Ramachandran on Saturday assumed charge as Union Minister of State for Home. Ramachandran, a Congress MP from Vadakara in Kerala, was Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Cooperation during the P V Naramsimha Rao government in early 1990s.

Mullappally Ramachandran on Saturday assumed charge as Union Minister of State for Home.

Ramachandran, a Congress MP from Vadakara in Kerala, was Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Cooperation during the P V Naramsimha Rao government in early 1990s.

Soon after taking over, he met Home Minister P Chidambaram at his office in North Block.
