Mayor Prithvi Raj Sawheney has proposed that all the five Delhi players-Virender Sehwag, Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra and Piyush Chawla-will no longer be required to pay property tax to the civic agency.

"They have made us and the entire country proud. This is our way of showing our happiness. A proposal in this regard will be brought in the high-powered Standing Committee of the MCD soon," said Prithvi Raj Sawhney, Mayor of Delhi.

"It will take at least 10 days to draft the proposal and it will be implemented from this year," said Yogender Chandolia, chairman of the Standing Committee of the MCD.
