President goes to see PM in hospital

President Pratibha Patil on Wednesday visited Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who is recuperating after a coronary bypass surgery in New Delhi last week.
The president spent about 15 minutes at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and met Manmohan Singh's wife Gursharan Kaur. The prime minister was resting then, said a Rashtrapati Bhavan official.
“(Patil) took a bouquet to wish the prime minister speedy recovery,” the official said.
