Smoother ride on South Delhi roads soon

“I have directed junior engineers to start work on roads that need immediate attention,” said Manish Gupta, commissioner of South Delhi Municipal Corporation. “Work will pick up speed from next month once the new financial year starts as we have allocated higher amount for maintenance,” he added.

On Wednesday, south corporation officials inspected the colony roads of Lajpat Nagar III HT had drawn attention to. “Some people came and started clearing all the construction waste. They said they will be carrying out repair work,” said Lajpat Nagar III resident RN Khanna.
