"The doors were never shut. In our previous dialogue, focus has always been on terror and terror instrumentalities," Krishna told reporters when asked about the possibility of resumption of composite dialogue between India and Pakistan.

"This will continue to be focus of the talks."

Krishna reminded Pakistan to expedite investigations into the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai last year and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Chidambaram had said in New Delhi on Monday that if he went to Pakistan for the SAARC meeting later this month, there was a possibility of bilateral talks.
