The IP university had allowed around 100 students to appear in the examination who had come in the morning asking for their admit card. IP university conducts the NET exam in Delhi through different centers but its campus in Dwarka is not a center for examination.
As a special measure, the university allowed these students to appear for the examination, which started at 10.45 am, instead of 9 am. UGC chairperson Ved Prakash, however, said that some students entered the examination rooms and tore off the questions papers of students resulting in disruption of the examination.
The miscreants fled before police could reach. A case has been registered.
