Police found the van, a Maruti Suzuki Eeco, at Jahangirpuri Metro station around 1am Saturday with the custodians of the money, Yogesh and Hemant, and security guard Brajesh unconscious. “They claim the driver, Om Pal, gave them spiked drinks. He is missing,” an officer said.

The van started from a cash replenishment firm’s office in Mahendra Park with R81 lakh on Friday and made a last halt at an Oriental Bank of Commerce ATM near Kirori Mal College around 6.30pm, police said.

Meanwhile, police sources said a suspect in the Defence Colony case had been arrested and identified as Harikishan Sharma, a resident of Chirag Dilli.
