Krishna Prasad, at present the Editor, will now assume the post of Editor-in-Chief.

"I am still with Outlook. I have just relinquished the day-to-day responsibilities. If somebody thinks that I am out of Outlook, they are wrong. I am still very much here," Mehta told PTI.

69-year-old Mehta, whose autobiography 'Lucknow Boy' was in the bestsellers chart recently, was the founder-editor of the weekly launched in 1995.

One of the senior-most editors of the country, Mehta has been editor of several publications, including Pioneer, The Sunday Observer, The Independent and The Indian Post.
