JD Institute of Fashion Technology is inviting applications for MSc in fashion communication and textile technology. The post graduate programme that allows students from diverse backgrounds to gain basic concepts and knowledge in core subjects related to the fashion industry, textile industry and fashion communication. It emphasises on intensive theoretical and applied training in core areas of fashion communication, textile technology, visual merchandising, trend forecasting, and fashion photography. Students can work for an established brand, a fashion export house or as a fashion designer. Students can also work as freelance designer, fashion consultant, fashion stylist, visual merchandiser. The course includes subjects such as fashion journalism, trends forecasting, fashion photography, visual merchandising and fashion styling. The applicant should be a graduate or equivalent from a recognised university/institution in any discipline. Students who have appeared in their final-year exam may also apply. Application forms are available at all the branches of JD Institute of Fashion Technology across India. Forms can also be downloaded from their website www.jdinstitute.com.
