Ambedkar University specialises in social science and humanities focussing on interdisciplinary education, where students can choose subjects outside their honours courses. It has been running the Choice-based Credit System (CBCS) since it was founded in 2008.

The last date for submitting applications is June 20. Students can fill the form online, but there is also the provision of on-campus registration.

Since it is a state university, it reserves 85% seats for students from NCT, Delhi.

Like in Delhi Univeristy, Ambedkar University also makes Mathematics compulsory for pursuing Economics Honours. Maths marks have to be included in the best of four subjects, unlike DU. Students who want to study English (Hons) should have scored at least 65% marks in Class 12.

Admission to postgraduate courses is held on the basis of entrance test and interview.

“Student intake for our PG courses is a lot. UG level only constitutes 40% of the students. However, once we shift to our two new campuses at Rohini and Dhirpur, student intake is expected to reach 7,500,” said Shyam B Menon, the vice chancellor of AUD.

The two campuses are expected to be ready by 2020.
