A Vidyalakhsmi, a Science student of the Vidyanikethan SC PU College, has topped the PUC 2 examination with 598 marks.
This year, 6,98,378 students were eligible for the 2nd PUC exam, of whom 6,81,079 appeared and 17,299 were absent. As many as 5,52,690 or 81.15 per cent students have passed the exam.
Dakshina Kannada is once again the best-performing district, with 97.37 per cent of the students clearing the exam.
Gender-wise, girls have recorded a much better pass percentage – 84.87 per cent – compated to boys’ 76.98 per cent.
Karnataka PUC 2 result 2024: Direct link
KSEAB conducted the Karnataka 2nd PUC examination from March 1 to March 22, 2024. The final examination was held in single shifts – from 10.15 am to 1.30 pm. This year, around 7 lakh candidates have appeared for the examination and are waiting for their results. The board started the evaluation of answer sheets on March 25.
