CBSE 12th result 2017: Lab technician daughter scores 97.6%, wants to be a gynaecologist
It was a super Sunday for Aastha Rautela, the daughter of a laboratory technician in Lucknow, who scored 97.6% in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 12 board examinations 2017.

Rautela got 99 in English and information practices, 98 in biology, 97 in chemistry and 95 in physics.
The 16-year-old wants to become a gynaecologist but she could not appear in medical entrance exam because she was underage and ineligible to take the test.
“Now, that I have scored above 97%, it has boosted my confidence level. I will do a one-year coaching and prepare hard for the medical entrance,” Rautela, a student of Rani Laxmibai Memorial Secondary School, said.
“I want to pursue medical from the country’s best medical college. I believe the onus is on me to turn family’s fortune,” said the determined girl.
For her father Ghanshyam Singh, it was an emotional moment. To see his daughter scoring so well in the Class 12 exam was like a dream come true for the family.
The school founder and manager Jaipal Singh had nothing but praises for Rautela.
Another boy from the same school, Vivek Rai also secured 97.6% in the Class 12 exams. He scored 99 in mathematics and computer, 98 in physics, 97 in chemistry and 95 in English.
Son of a farmer and government school teacher, Rai said he is happy with his scores.
Rai scored 121 marks in Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017.
