For all four toppers in the CBSE Class 12 Board exams, their success was made all the more special with a call from HRD minister Prakash Javadekar. He also had words of consolation for those not successful in the exams: “Defeat is not final unless we keep trying, therefore, you should try to study more and you’ll get more. You’ll get definite success,” he said.
“Today I called the first three number students, Raksha Gopal, Bhumi Sawant, Mannat Luthra and Aditya jain (tied at number three in commerce). I was so happy they are from diverse branches - arts, commerce, science. One wants to be economist, another wants to be an IAS officer, one wants to do study in political science and her inclination is for clean politics...One student is pursue engineering. I wish them all the best in their future success,” he said.
Javadekar congratulated all students who had succeeded in CBSE as well as other boards because “success gives you more strength and confidence.” The reason they had succeeded was because of their hard work and talent and love and guidance of parents and contribution of teachers, he added.
