Department of School Education, Andhra Pradesh, has released the APTET June 2026 notification. Candidates who want to apply for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test can check the official notification on the official website of the Department of School Education at tet2dsc.apcfss.in.

The last date to apply for the test is July 5, 2026. Read below for eligibility, selection process and other details.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate at the time of applying for APTET-JUNE-2026 shall be having the minimum qualifications prescribed for Paper – 1A for Classes I to V (Regular Schools), Paper- 1B for Classes I to V (Special Schools). Paper-2A for classes VI to VIII (Regular Schools) and Paper-2B for classes VI to VIII (Special Schools) as given in Detailed Notification.
Exam structure
All questions shall be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer shall be correct. There shall be no negative marking.There shall be Two Papers for the APTET. Paper-1 shall be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V. Paper-2 shall be for a person who intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. Those candidates who have both D.El.Ed and B.Ed qualifications for Paper-1 and Paper-2 intends to be a teacher either for Classes I to V (or) for Classes VI to VIII are eligible to appear for both Papers (Paper-1 and Paper-2).
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹1000/- for each Paper. If the candidate desires to appear for all papers he/she has to pay an amount of Rs.1000.00/ for each paper separately.
