IIT JEE (Advanced) 2018 registration from May 2, check here for details

IT JEE (Advanced) 2018 registration will begin from May 2 and close on May 7 at 5pm. The exam will be held on May 20 and the admit card will be available for download from 10am on May 14 till 9am on May 20.

Online registration for JEE (Advanced) 2018 will begin from May 2, 10am. Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria to appear for the exam can register themselves at jeeadv.ac.in

The registration for the exams for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) will close on May 7 at 5pm and the last date for submitting fees is May 8. The exam will be held on May 20 and the admit card will be available for download from 10am on May 14 till 9am on May 20.

As per figures revealed by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on Monday, 10.74 lakh candidates had appeared for the JEE-Main held in April. CBSE said 2.31 lakh (1.80 lakh men and 50,693 women candidates)cleared the test to gain eligibility to appear for JEE-Advanced.

Here’s how to register:

* Log in to jeeadv.ac.in

* Type in your basic information and choice of city. Note that correspondence regarding JEE (Advanced) 2018 will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number by SMS and/or to the registered emai id.

* Upload scanned copy of required documents. Check the information brochure here for list of documents required and other important details

* Pay registration fee

The JEE (Advanced) 2018 examination will be conducted only in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Every candidate will be assigned a computer terminal at the examination centre. JEE (Advanced) 2018 will consist of two compulsory question papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2, which will be of three hours duration each.

Paper 1 will be held from 9am to 12pm and will be followed by a two-hour break. Paper 2 will be held from 2pm to 5pm. The questions will be available in both English and Hindi, and candidates will have the option to choose the preferred language during the examination.

Results will be declared on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at 10:00am.
