Bihar launches ‘Vidya Sahi’ in 700 model schools, offers 24×7 academic support for JEE, NEET, Bihar Board aspirants
Bihar government has launched ‘Vidya Sahi’ program for Class 9 to 12 students and aspirants preparing for JEE, NEET. The program will have live tutor support.
The Bihar government has launched 'Vidya Sahi', a 24X7 interactive learning support program across 700 schools in all 38 districts of the state. The aim of this program is to provide academic assistance to nearly 3 lakh students of Bihar.
'Vidya Sahi' will help students of Classes 9 and 10, and science stream students of Classes 11 and 12, access live tutor support and digital study materials.
This program will also support students preparing for Bihar Board examinations as well as competitive exams such as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) and National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
The launch announcement was made by Bihar CM Samrat Chowdhury on his official X handle. The tweet reads, "The 24×7 Interactive Learning Support program “Vidya Sahi” is being launched in 700 model schools across 38 districts of Bihar, enabling nearly 3 lakh students to receive quality academic assistance at the time of need. All students of classes 9th-10th, as well as students of the science stream in classes 11th-12th, will be provided with live tutor support along with digital study materials for preparation for the Bihar Board, JEE, and NEET. Our effort is to ensure that wherever the child is, whenever they study—the answer to their question and the teacher's support is with them."

The initiative is designed to ensure that students can access academic guidance whenever they need help, regardless of where they are studying. Through the interactive learning platform, students will be able to seek assistance from tutors and access digital resources for their examination preparation.
The programme is expected to particularly benefit students in government and model schools by providing them with additional academic support beyond regular classroom teaching.
The announcement was made by the Bihar CM during a review meeting with the Education Department on Thursday at the 'Sankalp' auditorium at Lok Sevak Awas.

CM Samrat Chowdhury, in the meeting, instructed that state-run model schools should be operated more effectively, their management should be distinctive, and they should stand out as unique. Regular reviews and inspections of the academic system, teacher availability, student attendance, and the quality of teaching and learning must be ensured.
He also directed that the 'One-Officer-One Model School' system should be implemented to ensure time-bound resolution of school problems.
