Interested in going to the UK and Ireland for higher studies? Here are some scholarships that you can avail. Trinity College Dublin (TCD) has announced the 2015/2016 Dean’s Undergraduate Scholarship in Economics that will be awarded to a new entrant.

Interested in going to the UK and Ireland for higher studies? Here are some scholarships that you can avail. Trinity College Dublin (TCD) has announced the 2015/2016 Dean’s Undergraduate Scholarship in Economics that will be awarded to a new entrant. The award is valued at 20,000 euros ( Rs. 13.5 lakh approx), with 5,000 euros per annum ( Rs. 3.4 lakh approx) being applied to tuition fees over the course of the four-year degree programme. Non-EU applicants applying for 2015/2016 entry are eligible to apply. To maintain the scholarship from year to year, the student must maintain a minimum overall grade of 2.1 and must continue with the study of economics throughout the four years. The scholarship will be awarded on academic merit. Deadline for submitting applications is March 31, 2015. For details, visit here.

Cardiff University, UK, is offering scholarships through the British Council’s GREAT scholarship scheme. Scholarships are available for courses in advanced mechanical engineering, information security and privacy, master’s in public health, clinical dermatology, LLM and international journalism. Six scholarships worth £5,000 ( Rs. 4.5 lakh approx) each are on offer. Visit here for details.
