RRB NTPC Recruitment 2019: Two weeks after the Indian Railway issued the notification for 1.3 lakh vacancies for NTPC and level-1 posts on February 28, the RRB has made some important changes and clarifications in the advertisement.

RRBs on their official websites uploaded a corrigendum and amendments in CEN 01/2019 NTPC and paramedical staff recruitment.
The important changes made in the RRB NTPC 2019 notification include:
1. Candidate who qualifies for 1st stage CBT and short listed for subsequent stages as OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD, he/she will continue to be considered as OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PwBD respectively in all the subsequent stages.
Candidates are advised to chose their category carefully while applying and must possess a relevant certificate that will be asked while document verification process.
2. Candidates who apply for EWS reservation will have to produce Income and Asset Certificate issued by competent authority on the date of document verification. The certificate should be for the financial year 2017-18 as the last date of registration of applications is 31.03.2019.
4. If a candidates fails to comply with the requirements of EWS category reservation, their claim for reserved status under EWS will not be entertained and the candidature/application of such candidates, if fulfilling all the eligibility conditions for General (UR) category, will be considered under General (UR) vacancies only.
5 . RRB earlier had a condition that the scribe that will be provided to the PWD candidates have to be one step below the applicant but this condition has been deleted from the notification now.
