The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of the Combined Defence Services examination (CDS II) 2016 on its official website.

Candidates can check their results by clicking here. A Pdf file containing the name of qualified candidates with their roll numbers and a write-up about the results will be displayed.

A list of 265 (168 + 81 + 16) candidates has been released in order of their merit. They have been selected on the basis written exam conducted by UPSC and interviews held by the Services Selection Board (SSB) for admission to the 143rd Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala and Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course.

There are 150 vacancies for Indian Military Academy (including 19 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ certificates (Army Wing) holders), 45 for Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala Executive(General Service) (including 6 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders (Naval Wing)) and 32 for Air Force Academy, Hyderabad. There are some common candidates in the three lists for various courses

The Commission had recommended 4118, 2488 and 588 as qualified in the written test for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy respectively. The final list has been prepared after the SSB test results. The results of medical examination have not been considered.

The candidature of all these candidates is provisional at the moment as verification of date of birth and educational qualifications is still under process.
