Diya Kumari

Diya Kumari is a BJP leader in Rajasthan. Her father, the titular king of Jaipur, Bhawani Singh was a Congress leader who contested and lost the 1989 Lok Sabha elections. Her step grandmother Gayatri Devi was the MP of Jaipur in 1962, 1967 and 1971. She won these polls from the Swatantra Party. Diya Kumari joined the BJP in 2013 in Jaipur. She became an MLA on BJP ticket from Sawai Madhopur, in 2013. She didn't content the 2018 polls. In 2019, she became an MP from Rajsamand. She is the party's assembly candidate from the Vidhyadhar Nagar constituency. Vidhyadhar Nagar Legislative Assembly is part of the Jaipur district. BJP's Narpat Singh Rajvi has been winning the seat for the past three elections. The Congress has fielded Sitaram Agarwal.
