West Bengal Election: Goalpokhar Assembly Constituency 2022

All India Trinamool Congress's Md Gulam Rabbani won the election by upstaging Indian National Congress's Afjal Hosen by a margin of 7,748 votes.

The top three candidates split 95.1% of votes between them. All India Trinamool Congress's Md Gulam Rabbani got a total of 64,869 votes, while Indian National Congress's Afjal Hosen secured 57,121 votes. Bharatiya Janta Party's candidate Debashis Sarkar grabbed the third spot with 16,966 votes. The top three parties got 44.4%, 39.1% and 11.6% respectively.

In West Bengal Assembly election 2011, Indian National Congress's Md. Ghulam Rabbani beat All India Forward Bloc's Safiur Rahaman by 13,413 votes.
