Aamir Khan's daughter Ira excels in exams, proud dad goes to town with results
The actor’s daughter, Ira, secured 89% marks in the exam, and he was so thrilled with her achievement that he clicked a picture of her mark sheet and sent it across to all his close friends and relatives through WhatsApp (a messaging app).
Last week’s results of the class 10 Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams showed that girls in Maharashtra had performed better than the boys who appeared for the exam. Among the proud fathers who are delighted with their daughters’ performance is Aamir Khan.
The actor’s daughter,
secured 89% marks in the exam, and he is thrilled with her achievement. “In fact,
was so happy that he clicked a picture of Ira’s mark sheet and sent it across to all his close friends and relatives through WhatsApp (a messaging app). Till date, he hasn’t done anything like this, so it came as a sweet surprise [to those who got the message],” says an insider.
Apparently, Aamir had been “looking forward” to Ira’s results, since she had worked extremely hard for the exams. “He was confident that Ira would do well. And when she actually did, he was so happy that he wanted to share it with all his close friends,” adds the insider.
Aamir has always been known to be a doting father to his kids, Junaid, Ira and Azad. Interestingly, Junaid is assisting Rajkumar Hirani in his next film. “At the moment, he is happy that Ira is focusing on her studies. Later on, she will be free to take up whatever career she wishes to,” adds the insider. Aamir remained unavailable for a comment.
