Amy Winehouse’s heartbroken boyfriend Reg Traviss has revealed that he and the singer were planning to enter the matrimonial bliss before her tragic death in July.
In an emotional interview with the Sunday Times, Traviss said they had often discussed tying the knot although they had not set a date.
“We had talked about getting married. It wasn’t planned as in this date or that date, but it was a topic of conversation and had been for some time,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.
Traviss, who started dating Amy in June in 2010, also confessed that he is still struggling to come to terms with her sudden death.
“One minute I was speaking to her, the next she was gone. You might say we were halfway through a conversation in our life together and then, suddenly, she disappeared,” he added.
