Alia Bhatt has shared a funny memory from her childhood while wishing her mom and actor Soni Razdan on her birthday. Alia shared a picture of herself as a kid, sitting in Soni's lap on one of her birthdays, and a more recent picture of them sitting beside each other. Sharing the two pictures on Instagram, Alia wrote, "On your birthday I look back at one of my birthdays.. I spent the whole party sitting on your lap cause I was too scared of the inflated Godzilla which I drove you up the wall to get me.. But nonetheless I look perfectly content and happy and clearly there’s no place I’d rather be.. Happy birthday mothership .. we’d be nothing without you.. grateful for you every single minute every single day.. love you @sonirazdan."
Reacting to the post, Soni wrote, “Thank you my sweetheart light of my life and centre of my soul … my lap is yours always and so is my love.”
Actor Tara Sharma commented on Alia's post, “Aw adorable. Happy Birthday @sonirazdan.” Saba Ali Khan also said, “Happy birthday aunty.” Zoya Akhtar also wished Soni while Dia Mirza dropped a heart emoji in the comments section. A fan also wrote, “first photo is very beautiful and the second photo is very happy, thank you.”

Alia's sister and Soni's elder daughter Shaheen Bhatt also wished Soni by sharing some throwback vacation pictures of her on Instagram. She wrote, " Centre of my universe - then, now, always. Happy Birthday ma." Reacting to her post, Soni wrote, “Thank you my darling child you are the core of my and soul and all the rest of it you make my world turn and my heart so so happy.”
Soni was last seen in 2021 film Sardar Ka Grandson. In the same year, she was also seen in a web show, Call My Agent: Bollywood. She will now be seen in war drama Pippa, co-starring Ishaan Khatter, Priyanshu Painyuli and Mrunal Thakur.
