Priyanka Chopra congratulates Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor says ‘my babies are having baby'

Ranbir Kapoor's sister Riddhima Kapoor to actor Priyanka Chopra have wished Alia Bhatt and Ranbir after Alia announced that their ‘baby is coming soon’.

Alia Bhatt gave a surprise to her fans on Monday as shared a picture from a hospital on Instagram and wrote, “Our baby ….. coming soon.” The picture seemingly showed Alia undergoing an ultrasound with husband Ranbir Kapoor sitting by her side. She even added a picture of a lion and lioness with a cub to share the news of their baby. Following their announcement, the couple's family, friends and fans began congratulating Alia and Ranbir on social media.

Alia Bhatt has teased her and Ranbir Kapoor's ‘baby is coming soon’. 

Alia's mom Soni Razdan wrote, “Congratulations Mama and Papa lion.” Ranbir's sister Riddhima Kapoor shared a picture of Alia and Ranbir on her Instagram Stories and wrote, “My babies are having a baby. I love you both so much.”

Alia Bhatt's latest Instagram post hints that she is pregnant.

Priyanka Chopra, who has signed Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa with Alia and Katrina Kaif, commented on Alia's post, “Congratulations honey!! Yaaaay! Can’t wait.” Farhan Akhtar also congratulated the couple in the comments section. Alia and Ranbir's Brahmastra co-star Mouni Roy wrote, “Om namah shivay, immensely happy.” Karan Johar, who calls Alia his godchild wrote, “Heart is bursting.”

Neha Dhupia said, “Congratulations, welcome to the best hood! @aliaabhatt #ranbirkapoor.” Alia's bestie Akansha Ranjan Kapoor reacted, My famiweeeeee." Malaika Arora said, "God bless." Parineeti Chopra wished them, “Congratss lovers!!” Rakul Preet Singh also wrote, “Oh my my Congratulationsssss.” Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Ishaan Khatter, Vaani Kapoor, Shashank Khaitan also congratulated them.

However, some of their fans also wondered if Alia's Instagram post was a promotional strategy for their upcoming film, Brahmastra. A comment read: “It's a strategy to promote Bramhastra.” One more comment read, “Some promotional gimmick!” A fan also asked, “Is this for a movie or something?”

Alia and Ranbir married on April 14 at the latter's house in Mumbai. Only a selected friends and close family members had attended the wedding ceremony. Soon after, both Ranbir and Alia resumed their work assignments.
